Maxxis National 2009 Kart Races hosted by Palmetto Motorsports Complex. Come enjoy a weekend extravaganza of Kart racing fun. The weekend will consist of the "Dash4Cash" races on July 3rd with the Maxxis National held on July 4th. Sunday, July 5th will be the "ProClass Cash Bash" with $5000 in prize money guaranteed. For more detailed information on the races, visit www.palmettocomplex.com. The Complex is equipped with a concession, restrooms and showers, a camping area for overnight stays and spacious parking. Open Wednesday through Sunday.

SEPTEMBER 26-27, 2009
IRMO OKRA STRUT - The festival is a two day event featuring a street dance, parade, arts and crafts, rides and amusements, petting zoo, and lots of festival food.  Attendance for the celebration is estimated at 55,000 annually. The festival is managed by a board of commissioners appointed by the Irmo Town Council and we are proud to say, "we are the nation's original celebration of Okra." 15th Annual Charlie Glasgow Memorial Golf Tournament --Registration & Driving Range Opens at 9:00 a.m.,located at Woodcreek Farms Country Club in Elgin SC.
