The Chamber Staff

Serves as Chief Executive Officer of The Greater Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center and is primarily responsible for the overall planning, administration, and evaluation of the programs, policies, and activities of the Chamber’s operation. Works with The Greater Lexington Business Community and the elected leadership and staff of all levels spoken for the Chamber, reports to the Board of Directors and works directly with the Chair and Executive Committee.

Responsible for organization and support of Chamber events to include Business Expos, Business After Hours, Ribbon Cuttings, Golf Tournaments, Auctions, Galas, also responsible for recruitment, training and coordination of Ambassadors and the overall Ambassador Program. Solicits sponsorships in support of Chamber events.

Responsible for management of all financial and business management activities of the chamber. Performs all accounting and reporting tasks associated with the receipts and disbursements of funds. Responsible for Chamber facilities, repairs and operations, maintains membership accounting and data base. Prepares annual membership directory.

Provides support in the management and administration of the Chamber’s web site. Weekly updates the Chamber’s Electronic Communication Link (e-link) with members. Prepares information and correspondence relative to membership renewals and new member packets. Assists in recruitment of new members. Provides administrative support, as required, to support office operations.

Responsible for new member recruitment and investment in the Chamber, manages membership retention by personal contact and annual visits.
