How did you get started in this line of work?
Law is a second career for me. A 2015 job transfer for my husband resulted in the relocation of my family to South Carolina and an opportunity for me to go back to school full time and pursue a law degree.
What has been your most satisfying moment in business or what motivates you to go to work every day?
I am extremely blessed to work in a field that allows me to bring peace of mind to families during one of the most trying times of an individual’s life- the loss of a loved one. How do you define business success or to what do you attribute your success in this position?
I define business success as finding a career you are passionate about and surrounding yourself with positive individuals who share similar goals.
Who has been your greatest inspiration?
My parents are my greatest inspiration. They are self-employed and have worked together professionally most of my life. They have taught me the value of hard work and perseverance.
What is your favorite aspect of being an entrepreneur?
My favorite aspect of being an entrepreneur is building a team and company culture that aligns with my goals and values.
What piece of advice would you give to someone who wants to become entrepreneur?
Go for it! Entrepreneurship is tough, but extremely rewarding.
