Meet the Small Business of the Year Finalists

Pulliam Restoration

Founded in 1998, Pulliam Restoration is a South Carolina-based commercial property restoration company that handles water, fire, mold, and storm damage. They continually are focused on their mission of providing rapid, effective service to ensure the safety and security of their clients.  Pulliam has experienced significant growth, expanding its fleet to 40 vehicles and employing a large staff to enhance its disaster response capabilities. With a history spanning nearly 100 years, the company is deeply committed to community engagement and carries out their core value of caring for people.  If they are capable, they always go out of their way to help those in need, especially following a devastating event, such as a storm or natural disaster.  They are also committed to supporting various local and international initiatives, and on a global level, they are dedicated to empowering youth to advocate for universal, sustainable access to water.

Tenfold Collective

Launched in 2018, Tenfold Collective was designed as a socially conscious brand committed to empowering all women.  Tenfold Collective connects women to unique gifts, clothing, and on-trend jewelry while providing them with the opportunity to shop with purpose, and to support artisan partners across the globe, with a fair, living wage.

Proceeds from Tenfold’s sales benefit efforts to educate people and spark conversations on human trafficking, a $150 billion dollar industry and the fastest growing crime.  Their partnerships with Lighthouse of Life and The International Justice Mission have allowed Tenfold Collective to contribute nearly $100,000 to combat trafficking.  Tenfold expanded in 2022 with a brick-and-mortar store on Main Street in downtown Lexington, which has helped to further amplify their impact.

Tenfold engages with the community by organizing downtown events like Witches Night Out and Merry on Main and supporting various nonprofits, churches and schools with donations and participation in fundraising events. According to owner Misty Burton, “Despite recent challenges, including inflation and shifting purchasing habits, growth and commitment to our mission remains strong.”

Todd Realty Partners

Todd Realty Partners was founded in the fall of 2019 by Todd Lyle and Todd Carnes to assist the Midlands community with real estate decisions through value-driven service. After starting with a network-based approach, the company expanded its impact by purchasing and renovating an office building on North Lake Drive, which offered more space to accommodate their growing team and services.  Over the years, they have leveraged their construction and civil engineering backgrounds to handle significant renovation projects, including a $250,000 renovation of a Lake Murray property. The business has grown from a startup with 7 agents in 2020 to a top 7% brokerage in the Midlands with over $40 million in sales by 2023. Todd Realty Partners gives back to the community in numerous ways including financially supporting several community organizations such as Run Hard, Habitat for Humanity, The Lexington Police Department Foundation, The Ezekiel Center for Children, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and local sports teams at both the elementary and high school levels.
