Heritage Christian Academy is a private Christian school in Lexington, SC that offers a classical, college-preparatory curriculum. Our small class sizes enable our teaching faculty to better serve the individual needs of students. Our classical education curriculum and integration of Charlotte Mason’s teaching methodologies provide students with an accelerated and well-rounded foundation.
Heritage was founded in 1996 for the purpose of providing students with a Christian education and Biblical worldview. By integrating Christian faith into all areas of academic instruction, students come to know, love, and practice that which is true, good, and excellent. Daily Bible instruction, scripture memorization, apologetic studies, and weekly chapel service are opportunities for students to grow in his or her walk with Christ. Our primary mission is to prepare students to live purposefully and intelligently in the service of God and man.
Heritage Christian Academy is accredited by the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA). We have also been a member of the Educational Records Bureau (ERB) since 1996.Heritage is one of only five schools distinguished as a member of the Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS) in the state of South Carolina, as well as, the only classical Christian school serving Lexington and its surrounding areas.
