Established in 1959, The Greater Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center (GLC & VC) provides a foundation on which the community builds its goals, plans, and events. Upon this foundation rests an important Chamber responsibility - to contribute to the quality of life enjoyed by residents and visitors. Our mission is to be a proactive voice of business for the benefit of the entire community.
Lexington County is considered one of the fastest-growing areas in South Carolina. The five school districts that surround the Lexington area have several award-winning schools. Lexington is also famous for Lake Murray, which has more than 500 miles of shoreline and some of the best fishing in the country.
