River Bluff Graduate Receives $5,000 Scholarship From Lexington Chamber
LEXINGTON, S.C. – The Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center awarded River Bluff High School graduate Grace Day with its $5,000 Doris Burkett
The Doris Burkett Scholarship is given to Lexington School District One students who will be attending either a four-year college, university or technical
college. This needs-based scholarship places emphasis on moral integrity and the potential of the individual to become a productive citizen.
Day will be attending Clemson University where she study environmental and natural resources. She aspires to work at an organization where she can help
protect the environment as well as the citizens of her community.
