Wingard’s Market: Bringing Life to Gardens

Lexington’s very own Wingard’s Market featured in Garden Center Magazine!

Wingard’s Market is a small family-owned garden center located right here in Lexington, where second-generation owners Wally and Delores Steinhauser didn’t stop at plants. During their tenure as owners, they’ve added a gift shop, produce market, greenhouse and most recently a Nature Center headed up by their son, Zach. Zach comes from a background in conservation and wildlife biology and has a passion for connecting people with the natural world around them. By incorporating educational aspects, Wingard’s new Backyard Nature Center will see folks come to learn and understand how to garden for local wildlife and attract the animals they want to see in their backyards.
